Alberta Beach & District Lions Club wins Recognition for Snowmobile Event
As a result of the yearly Alberta Beach SnoMo Days Event, and due to a nomination by the Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club, The Alberta Beach Lions Club has won the ASA Excellence Award for Outstanding Promotion and Development of Snowmobiling. The Lions Club has been proud to be behind the the initiative and strength of countless volunteers and sponsors to grow this into a special event attended by thousands every year.

Alberta Beach Community Gives and Lions Deliver
Christmas at the Agliplex
Thanks to generous donations by local businesses, organizations and individuals, this years' Christmas Hamper Project Baskets were overflowing. Hundreds of pounds of food were collected and each of the 35 baskets of food and toys made a fufilling impact for eligible local families over Christmas. All of the food that was left over was in turn donated to the Lac Ste. Anne East Food Bank for distribution. Thanks to Peggy and Vivienne for coordinating the effort.
