About Beachwave Park
Beachwave Park offers a variety of services to the public and is a staple in the Alberta Beach community as a fun and safe place for recreation activities. We offer a wide array of rental equipment at no charge to the visitors throughout the year and assist in the hosting of many events such as Polynesian Days and the SnoMo Days. We also offer a concession stand with various snacks and drinks as well as washroom facilities to all our visitors. Beachwave Park also supports many clubs including the Beachbums Skate Team, Beachwave BMX Club and the Beachwave R/C Racers.

Broomball Tournament

Broom ball is played on a hockey rink, with rules very similar to hockey. Each team has 5 players and a goalie. The center line (Red) is used for off sides. All players must be on side to advance over the center line. Equipment is simply running shoes and broom shaped sticks (supplied by tournament committee). The ball used is a rubberized plastic ball, a little larger than a softball. The object of the game is to have FUN & GET some exercise! The more teams, the merrier. First draw 10:00 am depending on number of teams entered.Following the tournament, there will be skating for everyone to enjoy until 8PM.

The members of the Alberta Beach & District Ag Society would like to welcome you to Sno-Mo Days! The Ag Society is proud to be a part of this fun family weekend and would like to share our appreciation with you by offering FREE wagon rides. This is a great activity for the whole family and we hope you will join us! Just what does the Ag Society do besides give wagon rides? Well the Alberta Beach & District Ag Society provides many services to the community such as:
- Farmers Markets,
- What Women Want
- Polynesian Days and
- Post-Secondary Scholarships.
If you would like to give back to your community join us on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Agliplex or phone Kevin at 780-967-4759, new members are always welcome!
